Council Approves Argo Dam Improvements

Ann Arbor, MI – Starting in fiscal year 2012, the city of Ann Arbor will no longer pay for maintenance of the Argo and Geddes dams through the city's drinking water fund. Council approved that measure Monday night, but also approved a plan for Argo dam headrace improvements that would be paid for, in part, by the drinking water fund. Ypsilanti, MI – It's going to cost the Ypsilanti school district up to 180 thousand dollars to correct a problem that has left some students late getting to school in the morning, or home in the afternoon.
