Powerful BGSU Awaits EMU

Ypsilanti – As his team prepares to take on Bowling Green Saturday, Eastern Michigan head football coach Jeff Genyk knows it will take a great performance just to stay competitive with the 5-2 Falcons. However, he wants his players to avoid "pressing" too much.

EMU Seeks Another Streak Stopper

Ypsilanti, MI – The unfortunate reality of Eastern Michigan's recent football history is that the Eagles have fallen into several noteworthy losing streaks.

Last week, EMU made a serious move toward erasing that negative history with a 31-24 win at Ball State--the Eagles' first road win since 1999. Saturday's game at Western Michigan (12:15 p.m. on 89.1, WEMU) offers EMU the chance to halt a seven-game skid against the Broncos.
