Budget Cuts Mean Big Changes for Ann Arbor Schools

Ann Arbor, MI – Larger class sizes, elimination of busing for high school students, elementary schools sharing principals, and eliminating more than 80 positions are among the proposals in the draft budget for the Ann Arbor school district. Parking Revenue Negotiations Stalled

Ann Arbor, MI – Negotiations between the city of Ann Arbor and the Downtown Development Authority over a new agreement on parking revenues took a turn for the worse Tuesday night. EMU Budget Challenges Ahead

Ypsilanti, MI – With state funding for public universities expected to be slashed by at least 15 percent, Eastern Michigan University has created an ad-hoc committee of three regents to work with the school's administration to create a budget for the next school year. EMU Room and Board Rates Increase Slightly
