Ypsilanti, MI – Governor Granholm and state lawmakers have said there could be financial rewards for local governments that enter into regional cooperation agreements on some services to increase efficiency and save money. Ann Arbor, MI – Ann Arbor school district officials say they have received a good response so far to the early retirement package offer for teachers. Ann Arbor, MI – Ann Arbor School District Superintendent Todd Roberts has outlined his plan for resolving a projected seven-point-five million dollar budget shortfall for the upcoming school year. The plan outlined to the school board Wednesday night includes five-point-six million dollars in cuts, one-point-two million in additional revenue, and using 650-thousand dollars from reserves.
