Ann Arbor, MI – The Ann Arbor school district has a new Deputy Superintendent of Operations. The school board Wednesday night approved the hiring of Flint Public Schools Chief Financial Officer Robert Allen. Allen says the district faces the same financial challenges other districts face with state support not likely to increase dramatically. Allen is an Eastern Michigan University graduate and worked for EMU in the 1990's as Director of Student Services.
