Ann Arbor Releases Results Of Aerial Survey Of Deer Herds

Ann Arbor’s deer population is now roughly around 202 animals, according to the results of a visual survey by city employees.

 

 

The city released the outcome of the aerial survey today. 51 deer have been killed since a controversial cull began in January.

Fourteen Ann Arbor parks will remain closed after 4 PM from Monday through Friday for federal marksmen to continue thinning deer herds. The cull ends March 1.
