The Ann Arbor Public Schools board of education will meet tonight at Forsythe Middle School.

The district has an anti-open carry policy.  But, as of now, that policy does not apply to when its schools are being used as polling locations during elections.  Andy Thomas is the school board secretary.

"Probably the cleanest way of handling this is just to say that we're not going to have school on election day."

The board will also address the issue of registered sex offenders being on school property during elections.
