New help is available for Ann Arbor parents to get ready for the upcoming school year.
Ann Arbor Public Schools Superintendent Jeanice Swift says the district created the Back-to-School hotline and website for parents with questions about new student requirements this fall.
Swift said: "We just really want our parents to be able to have easy and quick access to the answers that they need to successfully launch a new school year."
One of those changes affects immunization waivers for non-medical reasons.
There's also a change to school transportation this year. Ann Arbor will now use Durham School Services for bussing instead of the Washtenaw County Intermediate School District.
The Back-to-School hotline is open until 8 PM Monday through Friday.
