Ann Arbor Schools Superintendent Finalists In Town This Week

The two finalists to become the next Superintendent of Ann Arbor Public Schools are visiting town this week.  As WEMU's Andrew Cluley reports, One of the finalists is here today, the other tomorrow.

The Ann Arbor Public Schools Board of Education is pleased to welcome the two Superintendent finalists, Dr. Jeanice Swift and Dr. Brian Osborne, to Ann Arbor.

The two finalists will be visiting Ann Arbor next week for their final interviews. As part of their visit there is an opportunity for the community to attend an evening session with each candidate to meet them and to ask them questions. 

Each candidate will spend one day in the district meeting with staff, touring the community, and visiting our schools.

Community members can also attend each candidate's interview with the Board of Education at 1:15at Skyline High School onTuesday (Dr. Swift) and Wednesday (Dr. Osborne.)

The Board will hold a meeting on Friday, July 19, 5:30pm at the Balas Administration Building, 2555 S. State Street, for the purpose of making a final selection for the Superintendent position.
