Ann Arbor, MI – After a petition drive failed to gather enough signatures to put the question on the ballot, Ann Arbor's city council has voted to sell 31 million dollars in bonds to help pay for a new courts and police headquarters building next to city hall.
Council approved the bond sale Monday night after rejecting a proposal to put the issue on the ballot, even without enough signatures. Click on the audio icon to hear more from WEMU's Andrew Cluley.
