Ann Arbor, MI – Ann Arbor's city council has approved street closures but delayed action on fees to charge organizers of this year's art fairs.
Councilmember Chris Easthope says fees for street closures were announced more than two months later than usual, making it difficult for art fair organizations to prepare and meet their budgets. Easthope is proposing that the fees be shared by organizers and the city this year, with the art fairs picking up the entire cost next year.
The Ann Arbor Art Fairs will take place July 16th through the 19th.
