Council Calls for War's End

By Andrew Cluley

Ann Arbor, MI – Ann Arbor's city council has approved a resolution calling for end to the war in Iraq.
Council voted 10 to 1 Monday night to approve the resolution, which says the city's share of the costs of the war is nearing 83-million dollars.
The resolution also calls for the funds currently being spent on the war to be transferred to efforts to meet the needs of America's most vulnerable people.
