EMU to host Health Care Policy Forum

By Andrew Cluley

Ypsilanti, MI – Eastern Michigan University will host a bi-partisan discussion of health care policy this Saturday.
Governor Jennifer Granholm, her republican challenger Dick DeVos, Arkansas Governor Mike Huckabee, and congressman John Dingell are among the scheduled speakers. EMU professor of health administration, Richard Douglass, will serve as the moderator.
Douglass says the cost of health insurance is pushing more companies to ask for some form of national health insurance. Douglass also says most Americans are not well enough informed about health care issues to effectively vote for political candidates.
Free tickets to the event are available through the website, www.nhpcevents.org.
