Ypsilanti, MI – Tuition will cost Eastern Michigan University students more this fall, but fees will remain the same.
The EMU Board of Regents approved a nine-point-five percent tuition increase on Monday. The Regents' plan also includes an increase of one-point-six million dollars in the financial aid pool.
The Regents also approved a 252 million dollar budget for the new fiscal year. Business and Finance Vice-President Janice Stroh says the new budget includes five-point-four million dollars in cuts, which will be spread across all university divisions.
