Ypsilanti, MI – On the first Friday of each month, WEMU brings you an extended discussion of environmental issues, featuring Michigan Environmental Council President Lana Pollack.
This month, Lana is joined by Michigan Congressman John Dingell to discuss house-passed legislation that requires tougher fuel economy standards for cars and trucks, and repeals billions of dollars in oil company tax breaks.
The Senate is already threatening a filibuster, and the President is threatening to veto the legislation if it reaches his desk.
