Group Wants Ypsi Logo Changed

By Andrew Cluley

Ypsilanti, MI – A group of Native Americans says Ypsilanti Public Schools need to get rid of the Braves logo because it's racist and insensitive to Native Americans.
School Board President Andy Fanta says that early next month, a new 10-member committee will be created to look at the issue.
The group demanding the change says it needs to be made because the school district would never use other racial or ethnic groups as a logo.
