Republican presidential candidate John Kasich canceled an in-person campaign stop this morning in Ann Arbor after having problems with his plane in New York.  Instead, he called in.

Over the phone, Kasich said improving the economy and having better job wages is essential.  With tears in her eyes, Republican Lisa Jibson, who attended the event said she will consider voting democrat if Donald Trump is selected as the Republican nominee.

Many Kasich supporters left when they were informed that the event at the University of Michigan was canceled.  Kasich's other Michigan events scheduled for today were kept on the calendar, and he told supporters that Michigan is a very important state for him.
