Public Help Sought for Schools' Strategic Planning

By Andrew Cluley

Ann Arbor, MI – The Ann Arbor School District has a new mission statement as part of the on-going process of developing a five-year strategic plan.
Over the next four months, community members will be working with district officials to create action plans that will be used to guide the district over the next half decade.
Superintendent Todd Roberts says given the difficult budget decisions ahead, a strategic plan is crucial to making sure the district ends up in a good place.
The district is looking for community members interested in serving as action plan team members. Each of the eight strategies identified will have one or more teams looking for specific actions to help reach the district's objectives.
