Safety Forum at EMU

By Andrew Cluley

Ypsilanti, MI – Eastern Michigan University officials say work is being done to make the campus safer, and to open dialogue with students and staff who have safety concerns.
Administrators, staff, and students met Tuesday at a campus town hall forum on safety. The forum was held in response to an assault last week, an arson in King Hall last month, and two other assaults on campus since May.
President John Fallon says the forum gave officials a chance to let the campus know about some of the safety improvements that have been made, and to take suggestions for more to make the campus safer.
