The largest teacher job fairin Michigan is taking place today on the Eastern Michigan University campus.

Today's event could result in on-the-spot job offerings for those attending and hoping to be a teacher.

More than 125 schools and school districts are participating looking to hire a teacher or at least become familiar with those who might be interested.  Many of the available jobs are in Michigan schools, including Ann Arbor, Dearborn, Novi, and the Wayne-Westland school districts.

The event is free and open to the public, but, in order to attend, interested teachers must have completed one student teaching assignment and be eligible to teach by August of this year.
