If you're interested in a way to feed your brain and your stomach at the same time, there is a special event going on tonight in Ann Arbor.

It's called "Feast of Ideas" and is part of the University of Michigan's year-long bicentennial celebration.

A variety of University experts will be speaking on a variety of different topics at a variety of different venues beginning at 6 o'clock tonight.

An "intellectual sampler" is on the menu with free, 20-minute talks taking place until 9 this evening.

The talks include "Why Technology is Terrific and Terrible at the Same Time" at Conor O'Neills Irish Pub and Restaurant and "Building the Bicentennial Bot" at Moe Sport Shops on University Avenue.

Non-commercial, fact based reporting is made possible by your financial support.  Make your donation to WEMU today to keep your community NPR station thriving.
