Washington Terrace Project Approved

By Andrew Cluley

Ann Arbor, MI – Ann Arbor's city council has approved an 11-story mixed use development for the northeast corner of Division and Washington.
The Washington Terrace project will have about 90 one and two bedroom condominiums, and retail space on the ground floor.
An old home currently on the site will be moved to Miller and First street to make way for the new development. Another building on the site will be demolished.

Ann Arbor's city council has also created a task force to examine the possibility of all new construction projects including funding for art in public places.
It's called the "percent for art program" task force, and is to have a recommendation for council to consider by August first.
