Washtenaw County, MI – Here are the unofficial results in the contested races in Tuesday's Washtenaw County elections:
PROPOSAL A (radio millage). County voters approved the millage by a 62 to 38 percent margin.
SUPERIOR TOWNSHIP MILLAGE (growth plan defense fund). Township voters approved the millage by a 64 to 36 percent margin.
ANN ARBOR DISTRICT LIBRARY BOARD: Winners are Jan Barney-Newman, Connie Green, and Barbara Murphy.
YPSILANTI SCHOOL BOARD: David R. Bates and Linda Snedacar-Horne elected to four-year terms.
WILLOW RUN SCHOOL BOARD: Cifford Smith and Sheri Washington win four-year terms; Dorothy Stewart wins two-year term.
DEXTER SCHOOL BOARD: Ron Darr wins four-year term.
SALINE SCHOOL BOARD: Paul Hynek wins four-year term.
WHITMORE LAKE SCHOOL BOARD: James Vibbart and Susan Booth win four-year terms.
School board races in other county school districts were uncontested. Fewer than 8 percent of the county's registered voters cast ballots in Tuesday's elections.
