Washtenaw International High School Tops In County On ACT

wihi.org

Washtenaw International High School students accomplished something really special in the latest round of Michigan Merit Exam and ACT testing: they were tops in the county and number two in the state with their composite ACT score of 27-point-three.

Not bad, considering the program is barely three years old.

Principal Nhu Do says the results are impressive.

"It really is attributable to all the hard work that the staff, students, faculty members, district supporters have really put in place to ensure the success of these students."

WIHI falls under the umbrella of the Washtenaw Educational Options Consortium, where director David Dugger wasn't surprised by the results.

Dugger says "...when school districts come together to think collaboratively and innovativley, good things can happen."
