Ypsilanti, MI – The city of Ypsilanti is getting some new nibbles on the stalled Water Street redevelopment project.
City Manager Ed Koryzno updated city council on the project Tuesday night. He says requests for proposals for real estate firms are being prepared.
He says three developers have contacted the city about the project, and one of them has toured the property.
Koryzno says the city's attorney is close to wrapping up work to consolidate 42 separate parcels of land in the project into one parcel, which, he says, will make it easier for the city to sell.
