Winter Returns To Washtenaw County

It appeared Spring had sprung. A look outside early this morning might tell you otherwise. 2-3 inches of accumulation is expected before warmer temperatures today begin to melt off the wintry mix.

The high winds that  ripped through the region Monday have largely subsided, but there are still several hundred Washtenaw County residents without power.

In Southeast Michigan, DTE energy yesterday reported a peak level of 150-thousand affected customers. As of 9 pm last night, power had been restored to 110-thousand customers with the majority of remaining outages in Oakland County.
