Ypsilanti and EMU Oral History Presentations Tonight

Wikipedia

History is best told by those who have lived it.  Tonight, the recent history of Ypsilanti and Eastern Michigan University will be shared by those who have gained perspective by being immersed in the city/campus culture.

The VISION Volunteer Center and the EMU School of Social Work have teamed up to host, " Ypsi Lives: Sharing Our Stories at Eastern Michigan University"

The event runs from 7 to 9 p.m. in the McKenny Hall lounge on the EMU campus. It is free and open to the public.

A panel of faculty, students and community members will share their own personal stories about the Ypsilanti community. So, if you like oral stories, then Ypsi Lives will offer a personal look into the community that these storytellers, and Eastern Michigan University, call home.
