Ypsilanti Approves New Contract with Police Command Officers

Ypsilanti, MI – Ypsilanti's city council has approved a new contract with the city's higher-ranking police officers.
The contract with the Command Officers Association of Michigan runs from July first of last year through June 30th of this year. With this contract in place, all of the city's union contracts now expire at the same time.
Police seargents get a three percent raise in the new contract while lieutenants get a four-and-a-half percent pay increase.
The raises are retroactive to July first of last year.
