The University of Michigan's Department of Occupational Safety and Environmental Health plans to test the drinking water on campus.

The city of Ann Arbor has released its annual drinking water quality report.  Brian Steglitz is the manager of water treatment services for the city.  He says they continue to meet or exceed all state and federal regulatory requirements.  There is no issue with lead in Ann Arbor's drinking water like there is in Flint.

When people hear about "water problems" they're paying very close attention these days especially in light of what is going on in Flint.

Ann Arbor City officials just announced a major sewer overload situation that spilled hundreds of thousands of gallons of sewage into a tributary of the Huron River.

Ann Arbor residents could soon see utility rates increase.

Ann Arbor City Council has approved the sale of bonds to help maintain a pair of pump stations key to the city's drinking water system.  

As WEMU's Andrew Cluley reports, council last night agreed to sell  up to $31. million in  bonds to pay for system upgrades.
