Governor Rick Snyder was joined by representatives from 15 Michigan colleges and universities today at the American Center for Mobility in Ypsilanti Township.  They gathered to make an announcement.

U.S. Transportation Secretary Elaine Chao was in Ann Arbor today.  She stopped by the Mcity autonomous vehicle testing site to make an announcement regarding automated vehicles.

The University of Michigan will launch a driverless shuttle service this fall on campus after testing it for six months at its Mcity research facility.

Many of Michigan's top elected officials attended an Ann Arbor-Ypsilanti Chamber of Commerce luncheon, where one of the state's US Senators was the keynote speaker.

The former Willow Run Powertrain Plant in Ypsilanti Township will soon be the site of a new autonomous vehicle testing facility. The project took a step forward Friday with the creation of a non-profit to manage the site.
