Milestone For Yankee Air Museum Bomber Plant Purchase

The portion of the former Willow Run bomber plant the Yankee Air Museum will call home.

The effort to convert a section of the former Willow Run bomber plant into a new home for the Yankee Air Museum is moving forward.

Yankee Air Museum founder and Michigan Aerospace Foundation president Dennis Norton says a milestone was reached on Tuesday.

Lot Of Work Still Needed To Save Portion Of Willow Run Bomber Plant

Smiling faces abound at the Yankee Air Museum as they are set to clear the first hurdle in saving a portion of the Willow Run bomber plant.  A lot of work however is still needed to achieve their goal.

Yankee Air Museum Welcomes Spirit of '45 Express

With less than a month to go in its fundraising effort to buy part of the former Willow Run bomber plant, the Yankee Air Museum today welcomes the Spirit of '45 Express to Hangar 1 at Willow Run airport.

The Spirit of '45 Express crosses the country to remind Americans how the people of our nation came together and helped each other during World War II.
