The US-23 corridor between M-14 and Brighton is known as a rush-hour problem. The Michigan Department of Transportation is hoping to alleviate some of that congestion through use of 'Dynamic Shoulders'. One local group supports some of MDOT's proposal, but would like to see something other than these 'dynamic shoulders.'

Ann Arbor and Ypsilanti are increasingly becoming bicycle-friendly.  As residents throughout Washtenaw County look long and hard at how to better live sustainably in the future, this form of alternative transportation will only continue to grow.
