What if you made a movie and nobody came to see it? Ira Deutchman has spent his five-decades long career as producer, marketer, and distributor making sure that doesn't happen. This exhibit offers a behind the scenes look at how he went about finding audiences for some of the most important and influential independent and specialty films of the 1970s, 80s and 90s. This exhibit, featuring interesting paper artifacts surrounding Deutchman's life and career, is on display in the Gallery of the Hatcher Graduate Library. It is free and open to the public daily during regular business hours.
