Comerica Bank’s annual Shred Day will take place Saturday, May 19, from 8 a.m. to 1 p.m. at Comerica Park. As part of Comerica Bank’s mission to protect its customers from fraud and identity theft, metro Detroiters can bring their sensitive documents and small electronics to the park for free shredding and recycling. This event is free and open to the public. A variety of small electronic devices including computer systems and accessories, audio and video equipment, handheld devices, household and office equipment and batteries will be collected. Attendees are encouraged to bring non-perishable food items to support the Gleaners Community Food Bank of Southeast Michigan.
