Ypsilanti, MI – Negotiations resume this afternoon between Eastern Michigan University and its striking faculty.
Last night, the administration delivered a letter to the faculty union demanding that professors be in their classrooms for the start of fall classes on Wednesday, with or without a new contract, or the university would suspend negotiations.
This morning, WEMU's David Fair spoke with university spokesperson Dennis Beagen and faculty union president Howard Bunsis about this latest development.
