About a handful of homeless individuals remain at what they call Camp Serenity in the woods at the end of Burton Road near U-S 23. MISSION has been giving the camp assistance. President Sheri Wander says the people still at the camp are making plans. "Looking for new sites, talking with friends to see, you know, if there's any other options, and in the meantime still having a safe, dry place to go to in their tent," Wander says.

Wander says MISSION continues to accept donations of winter camping gear so they will have some supplies if anything gets lost in the eviction.

Police Chief John Seto didn't respond to a request for comment.
