Call it arson. That’s the conclusion of an investigation into the fire at the St. Vincent de Paul thrift store back in May. There is now a cash reward for information that helps solve the crime.
Ann Arbor Police are offering $3,000 cash for information leading to the arrest and conviction of whomever set the fore on May 8th at the Broadway Street store.
Ann Arbor Police Detective Lieutenant Matthew Lige:
"It is arson, and we're asking for any help the public can give us regarding who may be responsible for setting this fire."
The 1800’s-era building sustained significant interior damage. Lige says estimates show it will cost about $350,000 dollars to make the necessary repairs.
