Ann Arbor Primary Elections: Incumbent Jack Eaton Wins The 4th Ward

Ann Arbor City Council Incumbent, John "Jack" Eaton, cruises to a 4th Ward win in the primary.

It was comfortable margin of victory for the sitting councilman. Eaton scored over 60-percent of the vote in fending off a challenge from  Jamie Magiera.   Eaton received 1,082 votes to Magiera’s 709.  Eaton was first elected to Ann Arbor City Council in 2013. Because there is no opposition in the November General election, the primary win essentially assures the councilman a second two year term.
