After weeks of delays, the Ann Arbor Veterans Memorial Park Pool is open for business.
Bill Meeks is the pool's Recreation Supervisor. He says problems with the filtration system kept it from opening sooner.
"It just took longer than expected, due to unforeseen circumstances and a few delays, but we did everything we could to speed it along."
Meeks says he's optimistic the pool won't have any more unexpected closures for the rest of the summer.
