Ann Arbor, MI – Ann Arbor's city council hopes to attract Google's new Adwords headquarters to the city's central business district.
Google has announced plans to create the headquarters somewhere in the Ann Arbor area, and city council approved a resolution Tuesday night highlighting the attractiveness of downtown Ann Arbor.
Mayor John Hieftje says the central business district has many of the things those that Google hires will want, but he says no matter where the company finally decides to locate, the city and region as a whole will benefit from added jobs.
