Eastern Michigan University Announces Fish Lake's Future

New information has been revealed regarding the future of Eastern Michigan University's Kresge Environmental Center, also known as Fish Lake.

EMU president James Smith told theFaculty Senate that the research facility in Lapeer is underutilized and encourages them to develop appropriate programming to increase usage.

Most importantly for Fish Lake supporters, the president said the facility is not for sale.

For months, supporters tried to get details from the university about a possible sale after it appraised for $1.4 million.
