Eastern Michigan University Named 'Best In The Midwest' By Princeton Review

  Eastern Michigan University has been named 'Best in the Midwest' by the Princeton Review for the 13th year in a row.
 
The Princeton Review cited EMU's "excellent academic offerings" as well as students' satisfaction with the campus as two major reasons for earning the title.
 
EMU was one of only 15 schools in Michigan to make the list. 
 
EMU's spokesman Geoff Larcom says they're happy to make the list again.
 
"This is a validation of the academics and the faculty at EMU and a nice honor to have."
 
Larcom says they're already thinking about how they can  improve to ensure the EMU earns the award again next year.
