As WEMU's Andrew Cluley reports, the commission voted unanimously to reject submission for lack of clarity.

The Washtenaw County Election Commission rejects the recall attempt of six members of the Ann Arbor School Board, citing a lack of clarity in the ballot language.

The recall petition cited failure to consider constituent priorities, failure to demonstrate transparency in decision making, lack of a cohesive direction, and failure to provide sufficient support for the superintendent.

Jody Huhn is with the group that filed the recall petition, Ann Arbor Public Schools Parents for Change.  Huhn says she will meet with the group to decide if they want to file new recall language.
