Falling Tax Revenues Force County Budget Cuts

Ypsilanti, MI – Washtenaw County's administrator says the next 18 months will be a difficult transition period for county government as property tax revenues are not expected to grow. Administrator Bob Guenzel has outlined his plan to address 10 million dollars of a 13-million dollar projected budget shortfall in 2009.
