Fat Tuesday Helps Increase Sales For Some Local Businesses

WikiCommons

As part of the Fat Tuesday celebrations, some businesses in Washtenaw County expect to see an increase in sales today.

Ashley's Pub in Ann Arbor predicts their sales will go up between fifteen and twenty percent.

Owner Jeff Moore says festive days usually cause more people to visit his business.  He ordered over 150 Paczkis to give out to his customers and believes they'll be gone by 6:00 P.M.

Jeff says he would like to host a larger Fat Tuesday celebration, but it's complicated to plan when its date changes constantly.
