Yousef Rabhi, Washtenaw County Commissioner and candidate for the 53rd District State House of Representatives.

In the October edition of 89.1 WEMU's '1st Friday Focus on the Environment, we spoke with Yousef Rabhi about a variety of topics. The Washtenaw County Commissioner wants to take his experience to Lansing and take over the seat currently held by term-limited Democratic state representative Jeff Irwin,  Jeff Irwin.

From a desire to reduce Michigan's dependence on fossil fuels, to efforts to remove a controversial pipeline from under the Straits of Macinac to the politics that pose a challenge to effective legislation.
