The owner of the new Got Burger! restaurant on Cross Street in Ypsilanti says the community has really welcomed him, and he looks forward to being an even bigger part of the community.
Haroun Mohammed says he'll be looking for ways to reach out.
"Getting involved in the community, getting involved at EMU and other schools, and just trying to do what we can to give back," Mohammed says.
He says he chose the Cross Street location mainly because there weren't any other burger places around.
Mohammed boasts that Got Burger! uses all fresh ingredients, from the beef in the burgers to fries cut from potatoes for each order.
