Governor Rick Snyder will tour Ypsilanti Community High School today.

The governor will meet with students from the robotics team after they were featured on the HBO show "Real Sports."

Ypsilanti Community Schools superintendent Benjamin Edmondson says he plans to discuss a $2 million legacy debt the district continues to face after it consolidated in 2013.

"I want to be able to just say to the governor, 'Hey!  Please, I mean, can we just get some relief?  That $2 million is just too much."

Governor Snyder is also expected to sign the state's education budget during his visit.
