More Out-of District Enrollment Possible in Ann Arbor Schools

By Andrew Cluley

Ann Arbor, MI – If Ann Arbor elementary schools have room in the fall, children of district employees may be able to attend even if they don't live within the school district.
The school board approved the policy change after several employees asked to have their kids attend Ann Arbor schools.
Superintendent George Fornero says the policy covers only elementary age students, but could expand to higher grades in the future if space becomes available.
Fornero estimates that about 30 openings will be available this fall.
