As the investigation into what happened continues, Ann Arbor officials release the names of the officers involved.
Friday afternoon, Ann Arbor officials released the names of the police officers involved in the shooting death of Aura Rosser.
Officers David Ried and Mark Raab were the two Ann Arbor Police officers who initially responded to the domestic disturbance call in November. Ried shot the suspect who, police reports state, had a knife. She died at the scene. Both officers are 15-year veterans of the Ann Arbor Police Department, and remain on administrative leave. The Michigan State Police continues to investigate the incident.
A final report has not been shared with the Washtenaw County Prosecutor's office, but State Police officials state that releasing the names of the officers won't negatively affect the investigation at this point.
